My wife and I are on a quest to find her 10 beers over the next 3 months that she can enjoy! We have found very few beers that she has enjoyed. Tonight’s challenge is a regular go to beer of mine. Brooklyn Brewery makes some pretty awesome beers, especially if you can get their Brewmasters Reserve draft beer, but they also make several 750ml cork and caged beers. This beer was given to me by Amanti Vino to review and to be quite frank, it probably isn’t a beer I would have picked up to begin with.  But, with that said I go in with an open mind hoping for the best.  It is actually a pretty stupid reason why I wouldn’t have purchased this beer,  the label is a bit cheesy.

Going nuts on the New Glarus Brewing Co. this week; My second one of the week.  What can I say with all the New Glarus beer I received (full disclosure, FTC) by trading brews with a fellow beer enthusiast in Wisconsin, I’m like a kid in a candy shop!  Even though it is fall, I decided to try the Dancing Man Wheat next in my new collection of New Glarus beers.  I’m pretty finicky about the Hefe’s I drink; I like them to be bold, cloudly, with tons of yeasty esters.  With a Description like this, I was expecting to be in good company: (more…)
