Friday, June 21st, 2013

ipa-glassware-packageMy family has always been extremely supportive of my beer endeavors, for Father’s Day I received a set of 4 IPA Glasses crafted by Spiegelau in collaboration with Dogfish Head and Sierra Nevada.   First and foremost, these are cool looking glasses, regardless if they make an IPA better; I’ll still be using these glasses.  Back to the fun, with my In-laws over for dinner on Father’s Day we thought it would be fun to see if these glasses were better then the glass what I usually use for IPA’s, a Pokal glass.   With a sixpack of Dogfish Head 60minute IPA in hand, the fun begins.

The Last Minute Portable Kegorator!

Tuesday, July 3rd, 2012

Happy 4th of July homebrewers and beer connoisseurs!  Last night was our local fireworks display and my neighbors pre fireworks party.  I always try to bring homebrew to share and as fate would have it I only had a 2.5g corney carbed and ready to drink.  The beer gods must have been smiling on me, because this little corney fit perfectly in the tiny wheeled cooler I had.  With a compact co2 injector and a picnic tap, it was on!  I rolled it to the pre-game and then walked on to the park, beer in tow!  Life was good… :-)
